말씀: 히브리서 10:26-39

제목: 담대함과 인내로 신앙을 지키는 성도

한번도 걸어본 적이 없는 길을 걸어가는 것이 인생입니다. 그렇기 때문에 다른 사람들이 걸어간 길을 살펴보기도하고, 따라가기도 합니다. 때로는 다른 사람이 걸어가지 않았던 나만의 길을 개척해서 걸어가기도 합니다. 그런데 인생은 딱 한번 뿐이고, 지나간 시간을 뒤로 돌릴 수도 없습니다. 그래서 인생은 소중하고 가치가 있습니다.

실패하지 않는 인생의 길을 가는 방법이 있을까요? 우리들은 한번도 걸어본 적이 없는 길을 걸어가기 때문에 혼란스럽고 두렵기도 하지만, 모든 시간의 처음과 마지막을 다 아시는 분과 함께 인생의 길을 걸어간다면 어떨까요? 두려움도 사라지고 기쁨과 감사함으로 걸어갈 수 있으며, 혹시 힘들고 어려운 일을 만난다 할지라도 그 어려움 다음에 어떤 일이 일어나는 것을 아시는 분과 함께하기 때문에 믿고 인내하면서 걸어갈 수 있습니다.

히브리서 저자는 예수님을 믿는 사람들은 속죄의 제물 되시는 예수님의 공로로 모든 죄사함을 받았기 때문에 구원받은 이후에 범하는 죄, 예수님께서 하나님의 아들되심과 구원자되심을 부인하는 죄를 제외한 죄로 인해서 지옥에 갈 일은 없다고 증거합니다. 연약하여 죄를 지었을 때 진심으로 회개하면 용서함을 받을 수 있기 때문입니다. 그러나 예수님의 십자가의 은혜를 거절하면 은혜의 성령을 욕되게하는 것이므로 구원받을 수 있는 다른 길이 없다고 전합니다.

예수님을 영접한 자는 의인이 됩니다. 의롭게 살기 때문에 의인이 된 것이 아니라 예수님의 십자가의 은혜로 의인이 된 것입니다. 믿음으로 의인이 된 사람은 남은 인생의 길을 어떻게 걸어가야 하는가? 38절에 나의 의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라, 그렇지 않으면 내가 기뻐하지 않겠다고 하나님께서 말씀하셨습니다.

예수님을 영접한 그리스도인은 하나님의 기쁨이 되는 삶을 살아야 합니다. 그것은 믿음으로 사는 삶입니다. 어려움과 고난이 왔을 때 믿음의 사람은 참고 인내합니다. 성령 하나님께서 도우실 것을 믿고 또한 이 어려움과 고난 뒤에 하나님께서 주실 상급을 바라보기 때문에 담대하게 순종합니다.

사랑하는 여러분, 인생을 살아오셨는데, 어떠신가요? 젊을 때는 인생이 긴것 같은데 어느새 인생 참 길지 않구나라는 생각이 듭니다. 지난 날들 가운데 후회가 되는 일들이 많습니다. 그때로 돌아가면 이렇게 살텐데, 이러한 선택을 했을텐데 하면서 그때로 돌아가면 좋겠다라는 생각도 합니다. 그래서 사람들은 타임머신을 만들려고 하는지도 모릅니다. 그렇지만 그것은 불가능합니다. 시간은 앞으로 흘러가는 것이지 결코 뒤로 돌아갈 수 없기 때문입니다.

믿음으로 사는 사람은 믿음의 퇴보를 하는 죄를 범하는 멸망할 자가 아니요 오직 영혼을 구원함에 이르는 믿음을 가진 자라고 39절에 말씀합니다. 그러므로 우리들이 생각하고 결단해야 할 것은 앞으로 남은 나의 인생을 어떻게 살 것인가입니다. 여러분은 남은 인생을 무엇을 하면서 어떻게 살아갈 것인가요? 하나님의 말씀대로 순종하고, 어려움 가운데 참 소망을 붙잡고 믿음의 걸음을 성령하나님과 함께 걸어가셨으면 합니다. 어지럽고 혼탁한 세상 속에서 담대하게 인내하면서 신앙을 지키는 그 사람이 저와 여러분이 되길 소망합니다.

사랑의 하나님 아버지!

때로는 앞이 보이지 않습니다. 빨리 선택해야하고 결정을 해야하는 그 순간에 잠시라도 멈추어 하나님께 여쭈고, 귀를 기울이게 하옵소서. 나의 유익이 아닌 하나님의 뜻을 찾게 하옵소서. 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 것을 선택함이 믿음으로 사는 삶이라는 것을 믿습니다. 우리를 찾아오는 어떠한 어려움 속에서도 담대하게 신앙을 지키게 하옵소서.

우리의 능력이 되시는 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘!

Scripture: Hebrews 10:26-39

Title: Keeping Faith with Courage and Patience

Life is like walking on a path we've never walked before. That's why we sometimes look at the paths others have walked and follow them. Sometimes, we even make our own path and walk it alone. But remember, life only happens once, and we can't go back in time. That's why life is precious and valuable.

Is there a way to live our life without making mistakes? Because we're on a path we've never walked before, it can be confusing and scary. But what if we walked this journey with someone who knows the beginning and the end of all times? Then, our fears would disappear, and we could walk with joy and thanks. Even if we face tough and difficult times, we can trust and be patient because we know the One who knows what comes next.

The author of Hebrews tells us that if we believe in Jesus, our sins are forgiven because of what Jesus did for us. The only sins that can't be forgiven are the ones where we don't believe in Jesus as God's Son and our Savior. If we are truly sorry for our mistakes and believe in Jesus, we can be forgiven. But if we turn away from the love and forgiveness Jesus offers, there's no other way to be saved.

When we accept Jesus, we become righteous not because of our good deeds but because of Jesus' love and grace. So, how should we live the rest of our lives as righteous people? In verse 38, it says, "My righteous ones will live by faith, but if they turn back, I will not be pleased with them."

As followers of Jesus, we should live in a way that pleases God and brings Him joy. It's a life of faith. When tough times come, people with faith endure and keep believing. They trust that the Holy Spirit will help them, and they look forward to the reward that God will give after the hardships. They follow God's plan with courage.

So, dear friends, as you've been living your life, how do you feel? When you're young, life seems long, but suddenly you realize it's not. You might have regrets from the past, wishing you could go back and make different choices, but time travel is impossible. Time only moves forward; it never goes back.

People who live with faith don't commit sins that lead to destruction but keep their faith and preserve their soul, as mentioned in verse 39. So, what's important is how you'll live the rest of your life. How will you live it? I hope you'll obey God's words, hold on to true hope during tough times, and walk in faith with the Holy Spirit. I hope you become someone who bravely endures and keeps the faith in this confusing world.

Dear. Heavenly Father,

Sometimes, we can't see what's ahead. In those moments when we must make quick decisions, please help us pause and seek You, inclining our ears to hear Your voice. Let us choose what pleases You, for we believe that choosing what pleases You is a life of faith. Please give us the courage to keep our faith strong even in the face of difficulties that may come our way.

We pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our source of strength. Amen!
