말씀: 히브리서 12:12-17

제목: 영적 침체를 극복하고 하나님 은혜의 자리로

인생을 살다보면 좋을 때도 있고 나쁠 때도 있습니다. 일이 술술 풀릴 때도 있고, 열려질 문도 닫칠 때가 있듯이 믿음생활도 올라갈 때가 있고 내려 올 때가 있습니다. 그래서 정말 중요한 것은 방향입니다. 눈을 들면 예수님이 보여야 합니다.

피곤하고 지쳐있는 사람에게 필요한 것은 쉼입니다. 엘리야가 영적으로 피곤하고 지쳐있을 때, 하나님은 천사를 보내주시고 까마귀를 통해 먹을 것을 전달해 주시면서 쉼을 갖도록 해 주셨습니다.

하나님의 은혜의 자리로 나아가는 사람은 모든 사람과 더불어 화평함과 거룩함을 따르는 사람이라고 14절에 말씀합니다. 모든 사람과 더불어 화평하라는 말씀을 올바르게 이해하지 못하면 잘못된 화평을 추구하게 됩니다. 하나님께서 모든 사람과 화평하라 하셨다면서, 이단들이나 다른 종교단체와도 화평을 위한 교류를 하는 사람들이 있습니다.

하나님은 모든 사람과 화평하라 말씀하면서 동시에 거룩함을 따르라고 하신 말씀을 놓쳐서는 안됩니다. 거룩함은 세상에서 구별되어 하나님께 드려짐을 뜻합니다. 이단과 다른 종교와 화평하면서 그들에게 예수 그리스도를 전하여 그들도 헛된 종교를 버리고 예수님을 영접할 수 있도록 하는 것이 목적이 되지 않으면 그것은 가짜 화평이지 진짜 화평이 아닙니다.

이처럼 진짜 화평과 가짜 화평이 있듯이, 진짜 믿음과 가짜 믿음도 있습니다. 진짜 화평은 예수그리스도 안에서 이루어지는 화평입니다. 진짜 믿음은 세상과 나는 간곳 없고 구속한 주만 보이는 믿음입니다. 진짜 믿음은 하나님의 은혜인 예수 그리스도의 십자가에 이르도록 이전에 믿고 따르던 우상을 섬기던 삶에서 돌아서는 것입니다. 그 그 누구도 우상과 함께 하나님을 섬길 수 없기 때문에, 우상숭배는 하나님께 음행을 저지르는 용서받을 수 없는 죄입니다.

배고픔을 참지 못하여 음식과 장자의 명분을 바꾼 에서와 같이 망령된 자가 되서도 안됩니다. 하나님의 자녀 됨을 생명처럼 여겨야 합니다. 하나님 나라를 섬기기 위해 받은 직분을 거룩하게 여겨야 합니다. 하나님의 자녀됨이나 교회의 직분을 가볍게 여기는 사람은 에서의 길을 걸어가는 사람들입니다. 훗날 에서가 자신의 장자의 명분을 회복해 달라고, 울면서 애원했지만 회개할 기회를 얻지 못했습니다. 에서처럼 회개할 기회를 놓치는 어리석은 자가 되어서는 안됩니다.

지금 여러분이 서 있는 자리는 하나님의 은혜, 십자가의 사랑과 감사가 넘치는 자리인가요, 아니면 직분을 소홀이 여기며, 하나님이 아닌 다른 우상들을 의지하는 자리인가요? 은혜의 자리, 회개의 자리, 회복의 자리로 나아가시길 소망합니다.

사랑의 하나님 아버지!

감정에 속고, 환경에 속아서 하나님께서 싫어하시는 자리를 선택하는 죄를 범하지 말게 하옵소서. 회개할 기회를 놓친 에서처럼 망령된 길로 가지도 말게 하옵소서. 진실한 마음으로 하나님 앞에 나아가 마음을 쏟아놓고, 하나님과 화평을 누리는 삶을 살게하옵소서.

우리의 주가 되시는 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘!

Title: Overcoming Spiritual Stagnation and Moving towards God's Grace

In life, there are good times and bad times. Just like things can go smoothly or not smoothly, and doors can open or close, our faith also has its ups and downs. So, what really matters is the direction we choose. When we look up, we should see Jesus.

What tired and weary people need is rest. When Elijah was spiritually weary and tired, God sent an angel to him and provided food through a raven, giving him the rest he needed.

In verse 14, it says that those who approach God's place of grace are people who pursue peace and holiness along with everyone else. It's important to correctly understand the concept of pursuing peace with everyone. Some people engage in dialogue with false teachings or other religious groups in the name of pursuing peace, but we should not lose sight of what it means to follow holiness. Holiness means being set apart from the world and dedicated to God. Pursuing peace with others should aim to lead them to Jesus Christ and away from false religions.

Just as there is real peace and false peace, there is also real faith and false faith. True peace comes through Jesus Christ. True faith is the belief that there is no salvation apart from Jesus, turning away from a life that once followed idols and instead following Jesus Christ, the grace of God.

No one can serve both idols and God, and idol worship is a sin that cannot be forgiven by God. We must not become like Esau, who gave up his birthright for food because he couldn't endure hunger.

We should not become reckless with our identity as God's children and our duties in the church. Those who take these responsibilities lightly are walking in the footsteps of Esau. Esau later sought repentance with tears but did not find the chance to repent. We should not become foolish like Esau and miss the opportunity for repentance.

Are you standing in a place filled with God's grace, the love of the cross, and thanksgiving? Or are you relying on idols and neglecting your duties? I hope you choose the place of grace, repentance, and restoration.

Loving Father God,

Please help us avoid the sin of making choices based on emotions and circumstances that displease You. Keep us from walking down the wrong path like Esau, missing opportunities for repentance. Help us come before You with sincere hearts, living a life of peace with You.

We pray in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen!
